I have written another poem regarding the outcome of what lies beyond death.
I feel I must refer you to it as an afterthought to the final line of this poem.
and post notes and photos about your poem like Suzanne Delaney.
Those who share this earthly habitat of beauty-
flowers, sea creatures, beasts and men,
all share a strange, unwilling predilection
with no other choice but to quietly acquiesce.
Passive consent to this feared and austere fate-
no other means to feign a better scene,
contrary to what legend may surmise
nascent, as it seems in all its innuendo
it nettles us to know that death is certain
a ruthless, silent predator in waiting.
