Vote
Grab your jacket or your coat;
Head out to the polls.
Here’s your chance to help promote
Your choice at the controls.
Even if your home’s remote,
You’ve got to do your part.
Voting is the antidote
To nations with no heart.
Hurry up – don’t miss the boat;
No time for hesitating.
If you can’t decide, please note
The stakes are escalating.
You won’t get a chance to gloat
If you don’t check your choosing.
What-ifs stick inside the throat
When favorites end up losing.
Keep democracy afloat
And join in the election,
For every single secret vote
Shows freedom’s sweet reflection.
