Hello Panagiota, yes we feel the same. When family members come over a conversation is very short. Because they bring theit I-Pads with them and on them until they leave. i do not like ths at all. I am never on the computer with company Because my space is taken to use my computer. Hugs Darlene xxxx-oooo

Darlene, yo and I feel the same way. I never realize it as much till I am in a room with someone, staring at a screen that lights their face like a ghost. Or when they must answer every call. I feel worthless when that happens. I don't know how kids will grow up with a heart under these conditions. Pangie

Is hard to tell who an what is real when behind a screen, I prefer face to face interactions but that seems to slipping deeper into the past as time goes on, Emilia.

Emilia, you are right. It gets worse each year. I so appreciate my cat in these days...more than ever. Poetry Soup in a great platform for communicating the human spurit. But it's time for humanity to be together more...in the flesh, face to face, hugging and talking. Pangie

Technology has its advantages but downsides too, people dont talk to each other like they used to. Bring back the old days I say, sadly we'll never see them again. Tom

We, who are a tad older get this poem. Younger than us, Doubtful. An empty room with people talking, is an empty room. Same in Dr 's offices, where all are in love with a screen? Screens do not love or care about us. Alexa is not a person)))) Pangie
