Velvet Beauty
'Twas the morning beauty within her eyes
That rose in silence to hypnotize
And in the waking breaths of dawn
I rose to capture a sunlit song
Where angels flutter in silent breath
Of drowning love in heaven's nest
~
On summers eve she walked alone
The winding path of cobblestone
To find a place to sit and dream
To smell the roses of love redeemed
Where moonlight fell upon the trees
As silhouette's danced upon the breeze
