Valentines Day Conflict

Valentine’s Day full of happy hearts. Spending the day not far apart. Sentimental sayings, candy hearts. Sweetheart chocolates, from a mart. Valentine’s Day, lonely for some. Who have perhaps never found “the one”. Who makes the wish they could find their co-part. Eating their way through the cardboard heart.

single and alone; yet valentines day creates couplet verse in romantic mind!

It is such a conflicting day, and for children too. The ones who are expecting the best valentines and feel they have gotten the worse, or not the one they wanted. A sad day for many.
