Upon the Rock, Upon His Heart
There amidst the vineyard, people worked and children played
With the harvest soon to come, he used this chance to slip away
So much to see. The blossoms filled the morning air
He picked a few and with his mother he would share
The rocks were jagged, playful frolic, injured so
He sat upon a rock and its future he didn't know
There light upon the boy, upon his heart, upon the rock
T'ward heaven did he gaze, he did not ever want to stop
My son, this is the place, yes the place you need to go
When soldiers come to claim you for the sins of every soul
