Untitled #56 / I Wonder
I wonder, alone in my room as the song
on the radio fades away, could it have been
for the best? rejecting me, I hear
“Change!” whispering screaming from her lips,
be more passionate, before trapped alone
inside a dead marriage, two otherwise free souls
chained together by society for life.
Could my pain today equal that fate?
