Un-Accepting Race
Trying to find yourself
in this world,
that's filled with so much
un-acceptance and pain,
is like trying to fly,
or find someone else to blame,
it's pointless, nearly as
impossible as it would be to keep sane,
in a room with no light,
nothing do to,
it's pointless and you will
always lose.
To find acceptance in this
un-accepting race,
would be like trying to stay in
in an unwanting place,
or trying to make a light,
with your own bare heart,
yes it counts for something,
but it doesn't help you in the dark.
But who cares what they say,
in this world made of pain,
they can think what they like,
put you out in the rain,
you just have to be strong,
and find a way.
School teaches us to live,
be free,
make the most of who
we want to be,
so don't follow the crowd,
just to keep from
getting shut out,
be who you want,
that's what life's
all about.
