Two Pairs of Flip-Flops

In the shadow of the northern light We stay indoors and bundled tight Never even leave the house at night For fear of freezin' to death I want to go with you away someplace Where the air doesn't hurt my face We'll live like members of the human race Where we don't see our breath We'll settle down in the southern seas Make love beneath the palm trees Swing a hammock in the salty breeze Where the sun never stops I need two pairs of them flip-flop shoes One just for sittin' out by the pool And one for walkin' on the beach with you In our two pairs of flip-flops July 12, 2018
