Twilight Arrives With a Sigh

The day retreats with a heart shy Slate colored skies, color the west As twilight arrives with a sigh Questions by night, no answers why One can only be thy self, best The day retreats with a heart shy What has it become to try? This is not only just a test As twilight arrives with a sigh It is time for release, to cry For the weary to find some rest The day retreats with a heart shy Let renewal not pass us by Feel peaceful beating in our chests As twilight arrives with a sigh Let go of fear, do not comply With such evil that will infest The day retreats with a heart shy As twilight arrives with a sigh Heidi Sands 11/10/17

Wow, you have written such a magnificent and wondrous Villanelle! I REALLY loved the way you wrote this, with seemingly such ease and great flow that I went through the poem effortlessly and didn't have to pause with an awkward stopping break! I loved your delightful poem, one of grand expression that i was inspired by it's grandiosity, Great Work!!
