Turtle Triumphs

Little tommy turtle Riding on the waves Splashing for the fun of it Water he so craves Splashing splishing sploshing Day after day after day Little tommy turtle Will sway and sway and sway Flapping his great flippers Gliding round and round Smiling at the wee nippers As they too are now found They dart across the sands The first day of their swim The dart towards the blue With teeny tiny fin Tommy their to help them Take their first hurrah Then soon they glide like Tommy does Go far, go far, go far Turtle tiptoe triumphs Across that beach so grand Running leaping loving life Beyond that hot, gold sand

Hi Angie….that is just lovely. I think you could write great children’s poems or story books. You seem to have a strength in that area I do believe! Cheers. Debx
