Turning Into a Leaf
The southern wind wafts in the amorous ambiance,
you sprint in the shimmer of the sparkling meadow,
the disheveled hair silently swirls on your face.
The tresses design the dark lattice of lilting luring grace,
the blushed face caresses the lone flying leaf,
that’s when love makes a mystique motif for me.
You glisten in the golden gleam of twilight charisma,
with smile configured by the slice of cloud’s silver edge,
glinting the leitmotif of the silky sky before nightfall.
When in the fervent flow of longing you float,
the drifting leaf feels the warmth of your cheek,
that’s when love makes a mystique motif for me.
My waiting window of yearning opens wide
on the vivacious vista of your beauty,
I see you dance to the rhythm of the resonating rain.
Floating on the waves of beguiled breeze passing by
the blooming magnolia tree I nurtured for years,
a leaf falls and leans delighted on your luscious lips.
That’s when love makes a mystique motif for me,
and I turn into a leaf.
