Trust Me Baby This Is Love
The day you were born the comets scattered,
the earth split from the moon and the sun shined-
Since you looked my way, you're all that mattered,
and the constellations were glad you are mine.
If this isn't love then why does my heart break,
every time we say adieu before bed?
When you whisper words of romance I shake,
as I gently rub your worrisome head.
When you touch my barren skin I can't speak,
and like magic I melt into your touch-
Like a Shakespearean sonnet you peak,
your intense passion last night meant so much.
Like a fallen angel from up above,
trust me baby...this is certainly love.
