True Treasure of Gold
Life creates mountains we all must climb
Through valleys we wonder through sometimes
It is the top of the peak that we hope to reach
Reaching for only one star from up above
Capturing one star placing him within the heart
All shall be seen though many of dark nights
Yet only one will glow filling the soul with light
For mans stars are gray and cannot be seen
Blurring the eyes from the clarity of his son
The brightest star above the earth and moon
Capturing the hearts of many while some be blinded
Unable to see pasted the earth and the moon
Wanting only the earth riches of silver and gold
Losing sight of the son not hearing words told
Lost in a wilderness of wires and visions
Capturing there minds watching Television
While words of babble spoken through a phone
With eyes traveling through a small cameras hole
With rainbow colors a promise given
Flooding the web with sights unforgiving
In a vast sea our names are written calling to the internet
Connecting us all together one by one drifting away
Looking for land sending out 1st, a raven and a dove
Hoping God will once again will show us the way
Yet, as his cross has risen and his blood was given
Our job today is to heal the blind to see what is written
Giving hope and faith to see their way up to heaven
Some staying in this life of wilderness while gathering,
Their Silver and gold
Reaping a empty harvest
To heavy for the soul to carry
Holding them back from:
The True Treasure of Gold
