My Trapped Cedars

Evergreens, not passing as beauty queens Along a fence line, there are three of them Great trees to make a big and splashing scene But the metal fence is intertwined with their limbs And their chances of survival are slim Stump-grinding will destroy them and the fence So, leaving them there is my best defense Imprisoned, their potential is doomed And their growth is hampered, I am convinced Music played with the wind is out of tune 050920PSCtest, Dizain Poetry. I could picture the sad plight of these cedar trees. Creative writing for sure in this winner. Congratulations on being on the winners' list. Sara
