Touching Me

The night in your parent’s house upstairs Beautiful… I went to visit Without you Now so cold without you And I miss you Your bedroom So soon It was empty You should be touching me Wallets empty Pockets torn open But please know I’m trying Trying to get there Sometimes its just me Scared But I’m trying to get there I’ll get there You’re overwhelmingly vibrant Shine absolutely brilliant Baby Pick me Choose me I’ll never not love you I’ll never not love you I cried For the first time Today from missing you Missing all of you And you should be touching me I’ll never not let you You should be here I should be there now And you should be touching me

Your poems are like songs - as if you sing them before you write them. You are so talented and brings a refreshing young voice to PoetrySoup. Never stops singing, Joy! David
