Tomorrow Is Gift of God
Tomorrow is God’s great gift
Giving spirits bliss-filled uplift
Awaking hearts by His grace
For wondrous worshipful praise.
Tomorrow’s brightness gives hope
Offers avenues to cope
Achieving plans for future
Midst God’s will with faith-posture!
With tomorrow’s truth accent
Some enigmas in the present
Can be reality’s proof
Under hypocrisy’s roof.
Midst trouble-angst now brewing
Along dearth’s gloom ensuing
Bringing suffering-deluge...
Tomorrow’s ready refuge.
Yet, we can’t boast of tomorrow*
Uncertain, it yields sorrow
Let’s make way for sweet victory
Against threats of misery.
Yes, we know not what shall be
On the morrow truthfully…
Thus, doing the most today
Cheers us for tomorrow’s ray!
*Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
