Today Is a Present
Today is a Present
(This morning’s thoughts on time)

Our lifetime is the product,
Of time increments God weaves together,
Forming days, years, and decades;
While the future sings its song “Tomorrow”
The past simultaneously hums “Remember When”
Just as a mouth ajar fails to catch a snowflake,
It also is problematic enjoying the *present day God gives us,
When one eye is glued on tomorrow,
And the other, thumbing dog-eared pages of history;
