To Ask Her To Dance- Young Mans Perspective
She dances like a beautiful song
playing under the needle of my eye
We,the entranced wallflowers,
listening to her song,
one that speaks to the heart
The room spinning
turning into a Gravitron ride
without our notice
except for the feeling of being pinned,
pressed further into the wall
our backs are holding up
The greatness of the Centrifugal force,
The battle of Inertia,
would allow our bodies to turn upside down
at this very moment
We watch in awe and wonderment
as one mighty- valiant Brethren
boldly defies all Physics
Tearing away, growing legs and a voice
to ask her to dance
This style Inspired by Poet Billy Collins. I learned poetry doesnt have to rhyme.
