Tips On Kisses

A mystery has been discovered At the Hershey’s plant, Encouraging some bakers To join in an online rant. It seems that Hershey’s kisses, Loved by countless tongues and lips Have been found, beneath their silver, To be sans their pointy tips. It doesn’t really matter When they’re popped into a mouth, But baked into a cookie, That’s perfection heading south. The company has no idea What’s harmed this tasty treat, Though everybody knows no kiss Should e’er be incomplete!

hey pat! many of my poems are based on things i read about in the newspaper and this is one of them. i used to bake cookies with a kiss plopped on top of each one and they looked and tasted great. ~ thank you so much for reading and commenting on a bunch of my poems - much appreciated!

This is so cute, Ilene. Makes me wonder if it's really happening. Those tips do like nice on cookies! Best wishes, Carolyn
