Timeless and Tender
A rose-covered door behind me shut quietly.
A gold lame carpet lay ahead.
I realized, then, that I was so very dead!
Angels, smiling in billowing gowns made of chiffon,
of glowing cerulean, lined my path.
Headed was I, at last, for eternital bliss!
A fully gardenia laden door lay in my path.
It opened a bit, I saw only the top of God's
glorious, loving head.
No need had I to want to that rose door to
return!
My future gloriously sparkled with peace and
brilliance, just a few soft footsteps ahead.
Such as I have never on earth known!
