Time is We talk about it often. Leaving here to find there. A place we can be together. A place where things can be… Quiet, Hopeful, Joyful, Happy. Raise animals. Raise crops. Raise kids, or grandkids? Pray in the morning before breakfast. Put the flag up, first thing. Work hard in the fields, and be ready to do it again… tomorrow… Tired? No. Retired. Looking for a way of life, only dreamed of for the last 30 years… or longer. No more doing what was necessary, by someone else’s clock. On your own to power through the day. A new way to live. (Time is) running… out.

Tired, retired. That's great, Ann. New meaning of old words. And times too.

Life humbles us as we age, we prioritize differently then our younger selves. Excellent write. Hugs

Thank you dear friend. So true your words. We need to take time to learn from each other, save history and create traditions, while not losing the old ones. Hugs. Ann

Much food for thought... I was thinking that now --- retired --- time, while running out, is also running free! Thanks, Ann! :) gw

Some get lost looking for the path forward, trying to find something to do... the truth, giving back, often provides more returns than other endeavors. Blessings on your night. Ann
