I held my baby so perfect and very dead and kissed his cold lips. 'Till my last breath I will mourn, my mourning shall shatter hearts. I dressed him in blue and laid him in sweet repose, many passed with tears. I had to let my boy go, that parting haunts me ever. _______________________ December 19, 2017 Poetry/Verse/'Till My Last Breath Copyright Protected, ID 17-1260-800-0 All Rights Reserved, 2017, Constance La France

He is not gone...neither is the pain...know that God needed him with Him and they are waiting for you when the time comes...live fully; make him proud. Bless, DH.

Wayne, I like your comment, it almost exactly what my beloved grandma said to me at the burial, and I believe that beyond the clouds he waits, I must believe that _Constance

Kudzai, thanks for visiting my poem, it was difficult to write, but I find writing my sorrow is a release for the emotions that I gather inside of my heart and soul_Constance
