Til You Come Looking
Smiling, dancing, off on my own
in true daydreamer’s fashion;
I’ll wait a while or briefly,
til’ you come looking for me;
Painting the night, peacefully alone;
May be hard for some to understand,
I require the very softest hand;
I’ll wait a while or briefly,
til’ you come looking for me;
I revel in thoughts of that quicksand;
You never run from what you see inside,
Tongue tied words? You just see that I tried;
I’ll wait a while or briefly,
til’ you come looking for me;
Our smiles combine, happiness magnified;
A smile just for me? I’ll know what to do;
Never a question of what is true ;
I’ll wait a while or briefly,
til’ you come looking for me;
I know I’ll be ready to fall for you.
