I tend to think that our fast paced society has created the microwave abounding iniquity, of never having enough time, to really listen, really care, really try to be there.
Can we care to put ourselves in our neighbor’s shoes... really care to help someone, instead of helping ourselves? Unless seeing the opportunity to advance ourselves upon another man’s plight, do we quickly escape the scene?
Yes we will all stand before God in judgment... but we don’t realize, our hearts are before Him every moment of every day in our small talk.
