I’ve made my share of mistakes Failed many times – failure is loud I’ve learned lessons from pain And had to endure the darkness of rain But through it all I’ve found that Growth comes from lessons learned Most often, from countless slip-ups I have many faults I don’t like Little things – some not so small Which reveal a part of me that I would like to simply ignore is there Leave it to God, who will answer a prayer To remove this thorn in my side Unless, like Paul… I’m meant to endure I’ve slipped up now and then, friend Without these bloopers, who knows? I might never have learned what I was Meant to learn, through mistakes Errors as noisy as deafening screams All those blunders that mark me as So very human!! So very HUMBLE! 2 Corinthians 12:6-8 KJV 6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

Amazing the number of people who do not want to admit their mistakes. You have penned an honest look at a small portion of your life. We all make mistakes, then we move on!
