This Old Man
Always a problem right from the start never could get it right
All in reaching deep down in his heart where there is no Light
God has given him much, blessings that he takes for granted
But man has lost touch and so his petite view is now slanted
Self loathing and stupidity are a few of mans favorite things
In that it's God they can't see through what the world brings
Thinking he is smart, thinking that he can even imagine God
To copy His Art and then say God doesn't exist to me is odd
Man is so tiny, so small but that's not what God had planned
Never wanting him to fall in so wishing he would finally stand
Land on God's closest star, He named a trillion more for you
You won't get far if you deny that God the Creator is true
Gain the world and lose your soul, half of it is already true
Then you will pay the toll as your God will be judging You
He had given you an out sending His Son to die for Your sin
He will end all doubt and you'll never again have that grin
Genesis 6:6
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth,
and it grieved him at his heart.
