This Is How Every Day Should Begin
This is how every day should begin
Soft sunrise whispers
in apricot glow
Dawn’s early breezes
outside gently flow
Waking to beauty
my eyes they do see
Finding the one that
I love next to me
Dew drop concertos,
a meadowlark sings
Pastel desires
on butterfly wings
Gazing at you as
you lie there asleep
These are the moments my
heart loves to keep
Daffodil dreams and
a sunflower wish
Warm blanket hugs with
a good morning kiss
Rose petal fragrances
cool on the wind
This is how every
day should begin
Good morning Soupers
