Thirty Summers
thirty summers
under my belt
playing the hands
that i been delt
walking the long road
by a short mile
thirty summers
its been a while
since i faked a smile
thirty summers
taken by the hand
built my place
upon this land
i been broke and pennless
hung by a thread
thirty summers
hands on my head
feels like led
thirty summers
dont get me wrong
their has been places
i feel i belong
theirs been tears
i lost in the rain
thirty summers
cancels out the pain......do you feel the same
thirty summers
i seen some things
met lots of people
and the gifts that they bring
id take my hat off
if i had one on
thirty summers
seems so long
sure made me strong
thirty summers
clouds rushing in
now the sun is shining
its been warm since spring
thirty summers
bring on the rest
i got a feeling deep in my chest
this one is gonna be the best
