The Writer in Me, Wants You to Know I watched you, I even took some notes I wrote them all down in my black book I wrote poetically about you, you evoke Your beauty, sure does have me shook Your auburn hair, long with curly waves Wantonly; my eyes can only, but; stare Apt of my pen; how then it misbehaves And my feelings it wants to make aware Your green emerald eyes chill my bones Your slim and tender neck, ache a heart Thoughts of you everynight, hits zones You are a dreams destiny, a sweetheart Your precious beauty I couldn't let it go Your sheer grace and fortitude, it instils So, the writer in me wants you to know You are the lady, who in my heart fulfils "The Writer in Me, Wants You to Know" contest Sponsored by: Mystic Rose Rose Date: 10/8/21 "Image courtesy of Oberholster Venita - Pixabay"
