The Ultra-Maniac

Theomania's easy to see in one holding the presidency. When megalomanic, his tweeting gets frantic. All his money could buy therapy! At least now there's hope if you vent whenever you have discontent. Should you think you are God, though you're only a sod, you could one day become president. He's great fodder for limericks even for me as a British... I'm sure other politicians and famous people also get the same 'tweetment' but I do find some folks are obsessed with writing lots of limericks about him and I switch off then and don't read them good luck in the contest:-) hugs Jan xx

Andrea, Good example of mania. Never thought in that direction. Best wishes for the contest. I didn't try for this. Just couldn't go there.

Everyone, stop picking on him! He's YOUR selfless, dedicated servant to the best of his ability, and his record proves that he at least has abilities -- maybe where it matters most.

Record of effectively and efficiently running businesses. Presidents and politicians not running government that way, ruined the economy -- which is everything.

Trump is ostentatious which I am the extreme opposite of; he is energetic and successful, where I'm lazy and unsuccessful. But other than that, he and I share similar traits. I hadn't known much about him when I watched Barbara Walters interview him. When trump admitted that his fault is he never gives up, I took note that he's similar to me. When I watched him debate, I got a kick how alike we are. I told that to my sister, and she exclaimed that her daughter was freaking out watching the debate with her, exclaiming over and over, "He is just like Hannah!" I am a poor speaker, non-conformist, non-performer, compassionate, humble, and a zealot for a good cause.

He's just such good fodder for the limerick form. I think he will go down in history for the most limericks written about a president! (not bad material for the comedians either)

Nicely done, Andrea!! A few poems cropping up on here about this despicable supposed leader!! Good luck with the contest! Regards, John.

I think it's just overconfidence. My impression is he's by far humbler than Obama. Yes, he's loud and a poor speaker, but he became president because he cares to fix what's broken and for no other reason. I don't know that he'll be able to, but knew that Clinton couldn't. (I didn't vote). (I think you'd enjoy my comments' exchange under Carol Connell's Ministerial Mishaps)

I'm not sure, but have a hunch that the people who interact closely, find him kind, which is the true test of character.

I agree about Hillary too. For me, it's how someone treats the ordinary person that speaks volumes about them as a person. I think back to stories I heard of Abraham Lincoln. Integrity shone from his soul. When will we ever see this again?

The word for how he treated the workers at my college is condescending. As if he needed to be treated as royalty. This was a good 10 or 15 years before even becoming president. And unkind, I would add as an adjective to describe him. His wife looks like she wants to puke when she is standing by him. I can only imagine the thoughts of the poor woman. (bad choice of words "poor" but you know what I mean.) Ok ok, I will try to zip it now!!!

Any debate about this could have no end. I listen between his pompous lines, and conclude he is humble. Haughtiness, confidence, and impatience are different from arrogance. His motive in taking over a wrecked government was selfless. In contrast, it was Hillary's selfish dream to first be First Lady and so on.

You are too kind in your wording. I know folks here who met him in person and his arrogance was insufferable. We had no choices for president. I voted for the woman knowing that nothing would get better no matter what.
