*A Fiction entry for Contest topic.

*Fiction* You gave me a kiss Then left in looming silence With swirling thoughts, I would miss The times when we laughed I thought would last forever Now, my heart felt cut in half The wind in the air Blew without any reason Across broken footprint pairs Where the dreams fell down From bare branches in my heart Leaping to run out of town A kiss left behind Given to me with goodbye That sealed all things, we could find 12/1/17 *Entry for Choose a Topic Contest. Good luck with the contest I enjoyed reading the stanza 'Where the dreams fell down From bare branches in my heart Leaping to run out of town' I relate to this feeling and you described the building of thoughts and loss to leave well. I also love the rhyme throughout.
