The Same Old Grind

The same old grind.. Awaken in the morning Almost time for work.. A cup of coffee needed for a jolt and a perk Home from work.. A quiet dinner Perhaps some TV.. Eyes feeling heavy.. Fatigue sets in Time for bed.. The same old grind.. Routine I mind.. A change I shall find.. A different grind.. Take a walk in the park.. Where.. Dogs playfully run and bark.. Where I'm.. Soaking up the warmth of the sun.. Having fun while taking in the sights and sounds.. Had slipped away from work for a day.. One needs to play.. On this amazing spring day in May..
