The Real Me: In the Light I Sit (Part 3 of the "evernightly" Series)

sitting in a circle of white light, i wait for my prince to come; i found him at the masquerade last night, we shared our kisses, he grew attached by looking into my eyes, he left when the sun rose, i have a form to travel in such brightness, but i am banned from the world of the day, i was banned when i first became what i am, so here i sit, in a shaft of sun, waiting and sitting for my prince to come. i am in my human form, the sun doesn't burn, what is not the norm.
