The Pink Raven

Into my heart a pink raindrop fell though it was not heavenly hued in fact it came from the talon of hell It sweetly glistened with perfumed charm then came straight for my throbbing alone enchanted, I'd turned off my faithful alarm We swam for a season in poisoned pools where rainbows and unicorns never dwell in nightmares framed with the bones of fools The raindrop then sank this fractured heart drowning me in flashes of frothy regrets roosting in the refrain of the Raven's bark.
