The Phoenix

Once upon a time I was obsessed. Once upon a Rhyme I was posessed. By the fires of a single flame. Somewhere in the flame I found this game. Now I am the one to blame. Like a blazing bird that cannot sing a word. No one would take my name. Sweet phoenix with your golden wing. Bitter scorpion with your torrid sting. Bury me below the spring. Look at me as the hottest thing. Feed me ashes. Feed me ink. Give my beak a bloody drink. Clean my cage or I will stink. My face is found in another turn. My talons leave an iron burn. Legends live so we will learn. Burn. Turn. Learn. Legends die so we will burn. Like a phoenix I will rise. Like a phoenix for the skies. Like a phoenix never dies. Like a phoenix never lies. Like a phoenix I will rise.
