The New Book Store

Oh how pleased to see A brand new book store From across the street I saw the new store sign So i went to have coffee At the coffee shop Looking forward to peek Inside the new book store I almost ran to the door When I got there -a sign On the front door It read ''Opening in September" For me September is a long wait

I love bookstores, old and new, but they are fading fast. Libraries still abound but they are cutting their hours to the bone. One day there will be nothing left but a rubbish bin of memories.
