The Music of My Soul
“The sounds of earth is the music of my soul”
Music to soul, Mourning Doves sing!
Hummingbirds float, each buzzing wing!
Water trickles over the rocks,
Spring released by winter’s ice blocks.
I hear the crinkling leaves the bear fling.
The buzzing bees are ready to sting!
The hooting owl thinks he’s king!
Seasons move as the next one knocks,
music, to soul.
Amidst colors each one will bring,
The wind blows through everything!
Thunder claps as the clock tick-tocks!
Rain taps roof as my heart unlocks,
Playful love released on a swing,
music, to soul.
