The Moon
The Moon and I are no strangers;
often having spoken together, gazing
off into distant space, into deeper
mystery – for little is known
of such regions...with only Light's
dim word as reference... We surmise,
even the Moon, herself, no direct lines in
space, all dimensions warping to our senses
and dreams – Einstein was right
as he could have been – Galileo perhaps
somewhat redeemed – and Christ,
our Brother, yet waiting in time for
our return...no journey ever taking us
further than ourselves –
