The Lies About Truth

Eyes open, heart beating, alive another day, Second after second praying it was the other way Little girl frightened, nails on sheets tighten, don’t know wrong from right and still my soul is fighting Lip-glossed smiles had everyone fooled, Deep breathes, anxiety they could see right through Truths are good to tell until all truths told will get you killed Hold it in, hatred-filled and still my soul’s survival-willed Eyes shut, heart beating, another dream of being free, Second after second praying it could belong to me Lies are bad to tell until all lies told will get you skilled - skilled enough to flee

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
