The Joy of Being Genuine
The joy of being genuine.
Unbound by what others think!
At times, a most lonely and
desolate place!
But you must, you must keep face!
And it is one-hundred per cent you
each second.
God has given you both the courage
and the grace
To sing your song to the eternal stars.
With a shining soul-face!
God, himself, never went out to please
the crowds,
He gave His life for others.
It's our job too, to stop looking for
approval
And be true to our brothers.
So, walk between the raindrops!
Embrace your joy and salty tears, too.
After all, you are the best gift to others,
Only if you are truly joyous,
Just by being you.
