Here forsaken souls are gathered; Gathered in night’s cold wrap of woe. Woe to those who now are treading; Treading the paths that lead them here. Written June 7, 2015 by Andrea Dietrich For the "Four Lines Only" Poetry Contest of nette onclaud Based on visual number 3

Andrea, congratulations on your win in the contest with this awesome poem 7, and thanks for visiting my poem, where bluebirds sing, not for a contest, just me feeling sad today and thinking too much, so being "a poet" I pour the emotion into a poem

This is written very well with such a limit of four lines, you were able to convey the haunting emotions of the picture well. 7

Eerie feelings to your poem to match a super scary picture. I am expecting a ghost to dart out from between the gravestones or from between your words.

Niccolo Paganini, great Italian violin virtuoso of the romantic period, played in the graveyards for the dead and they thought him in league with the devil, when he actually thought he was doing a good thing. I think he would have liked your poem. Love, daver

G'day Andrea... doesn't pay to think too far ahead in a graveyard. Your poem is kind of spooky but full of truth - thanks Andrea - Lindsay

Darkly beautiful, Andrea. I see how it's done correctly now, that even the first word should be same as the last word of the last line. Blessings!
