A cloud of dust,
and gas in a star filled night sky;
giant nebula stars in space are thrust,
one is seen as an eye.
Oh, is this the eye of God watching us each day,
has he been watching me when on my knees I pray;
as a small happy child at play,
as a girl, a woman shattered by life and lost.
A sun like star,
of intricate patterns pretty;
a place where new born stars created are,
until it explodes- oh pity.
but now God's eye watches me from light years away,
the eye sees all and knows it when I go astray;
and I know for my life- will stay,
this eye of God knows my every earthly scar.
