The Cliff

I have journeyed through the desert Through thick and thin I say to myself I just have to win I have come to the mountain I have to climb I begin my ascent I have to make it to the top Then suddenly I see it The cliff That moment, everyThing I've done flashes before my eyes I recap the various moments of my life Should I turn back or make this dive Should I remove the shroud of lies I've always told myself And show myself the stark naked truth Should I make the decision to know the true me Should I take the risk or turn back and remain the same.
