The Book of the Daughter of God

The Book of the Daughter of God Chapter 1 The Grace of God is with us. When darkness enveloped the world, God came to us. And when the waters of the deep seemed impenetrable, God took us. When sorrow and misery multiplied across the face of the world, God wiped our tears. And when joy returned to us, the world became fresh with love, like a newborn child. When rot and death consumed our flesh and soul, God followed us. And as God followed us to the end, we were at last together as one. And when we became as one, the world breathed its last, as if to sigh with relief. And when the world breathed its last, we too sighed. When God broke my heart, his heart also broke. And when I confessed my love, we were resolved. When I was perplexed with horror, I knew the reason. And when I confessed my love, God also shook his head. Now, when all things recoil as if it were before some great and terrible thing, it knows the reason. And today, when all things quiver with fear, it knows the reason. Now, I too know the reason. Chapter 2 Now I am with God. When we were cleansed by light, God left us. And when the heavens shattered like a glass veil before our eyes, we followed. When our joy became one, we wept as children do. And when we wept, we grew old, even unto eternity. When life breathed health into our bones, we followed life. And as we followed life, we multiplied across the face of the earth. And as we multiplied across the face of the earth, the world was filled with life. And we sighed with relief. And when we sighed with relief, the world sighed with us. When I confessed my love to God, his heart broke. And when his heart broke, my heart also broke. And we were resolved. When I became brave, like a woman in the throes of birth, I knew the reason. And when God also became brave with me, I shook my head. And now, when all things recoil with fear, like a woman in the throes of birth, it knows the reason. And now, when all things quiver before the face of great horror, it knows why. Now, I too know why.
