The Bar
Confident he wants something,
not sure what,
I look in his eyes;
it's like I've seen them before;
like I knew him before;
There's laughter touching everything
he says,
There's music constantly playing
inside his head;
"I come alive only after dark"
he says;
All I could think sitting there is
here's alot of danger
and yet, alot of peace,
then my gaze locked on his,
and I couldn't think;
The one thing after that I remember,
and I won't forget
is him saying
"You miss alot trading a sunrise
for a sunset"
