leaves are flying
all the orange, red, and the gold
and the ground is shrouded with the withered dying
trees are swaying in a wind- cold
bird songs within the forest are but echoes calling
and clouds hang low and cool rain is drizzling
drizzling, drizzling, drizzling . . .
yet, there is a mood and beauty I find quite enthralling
