The Author Has the Final Say
As we walk along this world's way
there's a path mapped out to go
we don't know what's our exact path
but we just follow from head to toe
We think we know best what to do
forgetting there's a higher authority above
the one who created absolutely everything
knows us inside out, fitting our very glove
You see God is the writer of our days
be sure never to steal His eternal pen
He knows how much ink that's needed
your final day the Lord knows exactly when
remember your story not finished yet
you don't know where it will end
trust the author He's the final say
His plans are real, not just a pretend
Learn to trust the blessed saviour
the one who died for you alone
on Calvary's tree was your sacrifice
there, Jesus, your sins did atone
( Quote:
"God is still writing Your story,
quit trying to steal the pen
trust the Author.")
