Male or female, that is not an admirable trait. Time and circumstances can be a great teacher. Perhaps they are on a path of becoming. I’m also sure that each of us has succumbed to our own brand of arrogance from time to time.;0) Hugs Rick.

Hi Rick, We all know who we are, I think. And yes, both sexes are involved. Hopefully, each of us is in a state of transformation. Some here are simply loving human beings.some cold as icebergs. I have never thought my poetry was great or superior. I don't know what that feels like.I experience myself right now as both hopeless and hapless in poetry. There's no reason for me to hide that! Better to be humble than arrogant, for pride goeth before a fall. Grateful for the many here who write beautifully and humbly, and still find time to encourage and support. Hugs ~ John

Agree John!! You are one of the most grateful poets I Know here..Humilty is your trademark. Your writing is superb. And yes many write and encourage beyond their circle of friends. Some, stuck within their heads. It's quite a show, one has to have a sense of humor about.)) Bless you~ Pangie xx
