The Air I Inhale Deep
A new swirled lemon sunset furled.
Dolphins leap, waves begin to creep
Within footprints reach, graceful sweep.
Inward whirls round in my main world;
This is the air I inhale deep.
Gray fog ease gnarled trees wakeful lie;
Loud falls rush over fallen bark,
Enthralled hush call seep forest sigh.
Men labor from wan dawn till dark.
My real world, my lullaby
Tale, embarks dreams hued clear and stark.
